Basis for improving the cultivation technology of commercial carp by choosing a more effective composition feed. The object of research: one year carps for market, which were grown in mixed fodders of different recipes. The authors have studied the chemical composition of water from farm ponds, forage ponds, fish breeding processes: the growth rate, feed cost per unit growth of carp for the periods (every 10-13 days), daily gain of fish at different ages using different types of pelleted feed. The main results and conclusions. Test result of feed rationing showed that between the need in the amount of food for carp and the amount of feed that provides the highest rate of growth at the lowest cost of feed, there is a great difference. The highest increase was observed in fish that received pellets according the prescription number RC-2 due to the fact that it had a high level of protein and a good ratio of plastic and energy substances. It was found that the most effective feed is the RC-2, the level of profitability of its use in the cultivation of carp was 72.0%, whereas at the use of mixed fodders of other recipes only 35.9% and 38.2%. This indicates a higher efficiency of the use of mixed fodder RC-2 for feeding carp as compared to the feed of other recipes. Protein-energy ratio in the feed RC-2A was 7.0:1, while in the feeds RC-2 and RC-2B – 8.7:1, i.e. 1% of the protein in the feed more, therefore there are correspondingly greater kilocalories of metabolizable energy than in the feed recipe № RC-2A. Test result of feed rationing showed that between the need in the amount of food for carp and the amount of feed that provides the highest rate of growth at the lowest cost of feed, there is a difference. In this regard, it is necessary to develop the most effective food standards depending on the weight of the fish and the water temperature. Calculations revealed that the most effective food is the RC-2, when used profit amounted to 3550 UAH. The cost-effectiveness of production using RC-2 feed was 72.0%, when using the feed RC-2A it was 35.9%, whereas the use of RC-2B – 38.2%. This indicates higher efficiency of feeding carp by fodder RC-2 compared with other feed recipes. ER -
